This is a project I worked on through my studies with Skillshare on their UX certificate course. The project entailed the entire process from creating an Empathy Map all the way to final design. The goal of the app is to provide users the ability to try on hairstyles before going to the salon.
Examples of the kind of work I was involved with during my time with HiRez. Tasks ranged from banner ads, thumbnails, sale key art, Newsletters, and large print assets for live conventions.
2015 - The following projects were completed while working as a Freelancer with BlueKey Inc out of Charleston, SC. The work consisted of Responsive Landing pages, Responsive Newsletters, Icons and info-graphics.
2014 - The Camel "Taste It All Project" was a large assignment that involved various online activities, blogs, articles, sweepstakes and contests. My involvement with the project included concept designs, mobile implementation of the various activities, updating creative on the articles and blog pages and creating an asset sprite sheet for the development and QA teams.
2013 - This was an activity for Camel SNUS which allowed visitors to create their own images using the assets we provided. My part of the project was designing the initial wire frame and UX for the activity as well much of the execution and overall look of the activity.
2012 - This design was for the Camel Brand and their Fresh Seal SNUS promotion. It is a personality activity in which visitors answer a series of questions to determine "what type of snuser" they are. The individual would then be awarded a badge once complete. My involvement with the project started with concepting and UX, all the way through the entire design and development hand-off.
2013 - This was an Instant Win Activity for Camel's Frost Large SNUS promotion. My involvement started with the layout and UX design all the way through to the final execution of the design for both mobile and desktop.
2014 - The "Makin' It Happen Instant Win" was part of the Camel Taste It All Project. My involvement with the project was from the beginning stages of conception and UX, all the way through to the final execution of the design. During the last stages of design, I took a medical leave for back surgery. My team saw that the final rounds of creative and development of this project was completed during my abscence.
Here are several examples of email designs created during my time with BFG Communications and HiRez Studios. They consists of baked in images, animated gifs and live copy designs.
This was a concept design for the Camel brand on mobile for their 2015 campaign. The goal was to design a look and feel centered around lifestyle. I chose to emulate a clean look with the tiles while generating some excitement with the imagery.
2012-2014 - My work on Mello Yello included designing social media ads as well as wallpapers and "swag" for the site www.melloyellow.com
The facebook and twitter ads were for the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series promoting a chance to meet the driver "The Sarge."
2014 - My involvement with the Lemonic site was to create a background with the various vector images and textures. I also was responsible the footer with the social meida links / icons.
2014 - I helped create the Lindeman's web banners and ads for various platforms including mobile and social media spaces.
Student project at Armstrong Atlantic State University in which we were assigned to design marketing materials for a Film Festival. My work included Posters, tickets, style-guide and t-shirts.
2009 - These are designs created during my internship with Armstrong Atlantic State University Marketing Department. I created posters, calendars and flyers for campus events.
2011 - This was one of my first projects with BFG Communications. It involved designing a simple, promotional site for the Band Wagon event. My involvement was to finish the design that had already began with some of the assets. I added in most of the elements, links, and background then prepped the PSD for development.
